PCIe slot damaged.
I experienced a burned PCIe lane before replacing my board. My Ryzen 5 3600x with a b450m steel legend had the issue. One day I detected a burnt smell from my PC, shut it down, and checked it—it was the PCIe lane that had burned. I assumed it was a PSU problem, so I swapped the PSU on another machine and found nothing wrong. Now, after a long period, the same problem occurs with the video when I power on the PC. Is this due to a motherboard fault or another cause? VID_20210910_103512(0)(0).mp4 Edited September 12, 2021 by hedgene
Connection type does not match the required lane configuration.
No clue about the problem. It might have occurred on one of my setups. Possibly the card was being pushed up by coolant lines. I can't really recall anything else, nothing broke or gave any warning signs.
