Hello, your setup includes an Intel i5-4460 and an ASRock H81M-HDS R2.0 board. You have an X16 PCIe slot with a graphics card and an empty X1 slot. You're considering a PCIe WiFi adapter, but the specs say it only supports 16 lanes. If you install it in the empty X1 slot, will it affect your graphics card performance? Playing Ark on GTX 1050 is important, so you're right to be concerned about any slowdown. Let me know if you need more details.

It will work fine. The alternative path is offered by the H81 chipset.

Even reducing the CPU lanes to the graphics card wouldn't impact performance, though the chipset would still provide lanes.
