American Megatrends Inc. 4.6.5, 1/22/2022). I've tried several solutions—stress tested the GPU, used an ATI Radeon in x16 and GTX 710, reinstalled drivers via DDU, cleaned the GPU with a dry cloth and eraser, removed one RAM module. Someone could possibly assist me, as I haven't encountered this problem before.

Execute a GPU-heavy test to observe performance shifts; typically, it relies on just a few lanes during idle periods.

Click the question mark next to the PCIe gen readout and execute the render test; it will load the GPU and run at maximum speed across all lanes. If not, it indicates another problem. Disable PCIe ASPM in the BIOS if available to ensure consistent full-speed performance. I usually disable it because power savings are typically insignificant.

It failed, tried running the furmark for ten minutes, but it didn’t work.

Yup executed the render test, GPU experienced stress yet lane counts stayed consistent, and there’s no BIOS feature remotely linked to PCIe available.

Have you observed reduced performance beyond expectations, or are you aiming to fix it for accurate reporting?

The performance is quite poor, significantly worse than expected. On YouTube benchmarks with similar specs, I saw around 20-30 FPS, but in Spider-Man remastered I only got about 15 FPS.

Use HWINFO to obtain detailed information about the PCIe bus. Open the main window, navigate to bus -> pci bus -> your GPU (the exact location varies by system, often near PCI root port or graphics port). You'll see details such as your PCIe version, maximum link width, and whether ASPM is active or not, which may help resolve your issue.

This tool isn't designed for GPU performance evaluation; it focuses on power and thermal characteristics.
