I recently installed this PCIe LAN card into my PC due to slow downloads. After placing it in all setups, everything seemed normal until I noticed the internet wouldn’t work when I powered on. I eventually discovered a fix by removing and reinserting it each time I turned on the computer. This became frustrating, so I relocated it to the PCIe 16x slot on my motherboard. It functioned properly then, but now it’s acting up again. I checked online earlier this year or last, and people suggested updating the BIOS—did that too. Still no improvement. I’m seeking advice on possible solutions. Motherboard model: Msi B350. Power supply: 500W, Windows 10 Home, no overclocking. Let me know if you have more details!
I think I might attempt using my MB's Ethernet connection again—I did before, but I can't recall the issue. I'll test it now and let you know.
yeah so its perfectly fine, actually seems to do better, idk why i didnt just use the mb ethernet. Was the nic a waste of 20£?

Check if it shows up in the BIOS when it’s missing from Windows. If you notice a PCIe device in your BIOS that isn’t your GPU, internet might not work; it’s likely a driver problem. Also, observe whether the card lights up or blink when you connect a network cable.
