I placed an order for a computer equipped with a b550-f Asus Rog Strix motherboard, Ryzen 5900X processor, PCIe Gen 4 NVMe interface, and a 3060 graphics card. I believe everything should work as expected, but I’m a bit puzzled about the PCIe lane configuration on this board. I thought only the top GPU slot uses four lanes, which is sufficient for my needs. Can I actually run a second GPU (1050Ti), another NVMe card (Gen 3), and a wireless adapter at the same time? Or are there not enough lanes available to support all these components? Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated.

It might affect performance if you use more than one PCIe card, as bandwidth gets reduced and they’re split between them. Having an X16 GPU gives 8 lanes, but with gaming it could drop FPS significantly.

It works with the 3060 because it supports 8*PCIe Gen4. The main concern is whether the motherboard actually splits the PCIe lanes correctly for your needs and if the chipset has sufficient capacity.

Only one PCIe port accommodates Gen 4 technology, which means I’m really unsure about its availability in this case

In fact, the Gen 4 x16 slot serves the CPU while the earlier 3rd generation uses the motherboard chipset. You can fully utilize a Gen 4 x16 slot on your GPU and divide the 1050 Ti and Wi-Fi cards using the appropriate motherboard.
