PCIE GPU tab problem Issue with the PCIe graphics tab on your system.
Remove the screws securing the graphics card and disconnect any display cables. You might need to press inward on the PCIe slot tab again and firmly lift or pull the card out. This process has happened several times, particularly with large graphics cards. The highlighted PCIe tab is indeed present in your photo.
It's one of those panels you have to slide to the side (near your SSD) while keeping it away from the GPU. I'm not sure, but go slowly and carefully—I might be mistaken. Try a bit more effort since the tabs click into place with those teeth, just like in the picture.
Remove the card, lift gently while pulling the latch down. It’s a mechanism that lifts the card but requires extra help when it’s loaded.
These PCIe locking tabs sometimes need a workaround. To bypass them, gently move the card while pressing down on the tab, as they can also be secured from the back of the PCIe I/O bracket. The adjustment to the screw holding it in place is another key factor. It seems you've figured this out!
Thank you for your feedback. I had to exert a bit more pressure on the tab, and by doing so, I gently pulled the card out without any issues. Appreciate your understanding!
