Hello, I purchased an PCI-E x4 Axagon PCEM2-S and an Axagon PCEM2-N to fit an additional 1 m.2 slot. The existing 2 m.2 slots are all full. I couldn't see any expansion cards in the motherboard BIOS or operating system. I attempted CSM support with Pcie bifurcation enabled and switched to Gen3. I checked every PCIe slot except the first one used by the GPU. I removed all storage devices, including the SSD cables, and only allowed the PCIe card to be active. I tested Samsung 980 kc3000 Q5 Seagate PCIe cards—power was on, and all SSDs worked correctly when installed in a standard m.2 5800x B550 Aorus Pro v2 with BIOS version F13g RX6800. Win 11 22h2 22621.1778. Are there further settings required or a specific sequence to get it working? Thank you for your help.

If someone faces the same problem, the fix is to take out the SATA cables from the motherboard that also use the PCIe lanes you're attempting to connect. (Refer to the manual) In my situation, it was SATA 4 and SATA 5.
