Typically results from a faulty or mismatched PCI card or an issue with the PCI bus.

What kind of hardware do you have (graphics card, motherboard, peripherals) and how recent is it? You mentioned buying a new motherboard or other PCI device recently. "Parity error" isn’t something I’ve encountered much before. It seems there might be an incompatible component, as suggested by someone named bignastyid, and there’s always the possibility of corruption affecting the check. In my limited experience, this isn’t a promising sign.
