It seems unusual... but the second PCIe port should be x8, not x4, and it’s fine for a 2070. Have you cleared the CMOS and verified the PCIe version settings?

Bifurcation is configured as Auto. I considered three alternatives but didn’t explore them thoroughly since I’m unfamiliar with them. I might reset the CMOS and look it up online. It seems like removing the battery or shorting the CMOS pins could help. From a performance standpoint, everything looks fine—some say using X16 could boost speed by about 5%. The main worry is heat; my PSU is only about an inch away and it gets quite warm (70 to 80 degrees depending on the game). It’s within limits, but I’m hoping for better cooling and efficiency.
