Hey everyone, I'm trying to upgrade my GTX 1060 with 3GB RAM to an RTX 3080. My motherboard is a Z370 Aorus Ultra Gaming and it has PCIe X16 3.0, while the RTX 3080 uses PCIe 4.0. I'm not sure which GPU model is best for my setup. Could you tell me how much this might limit my graphics performance? Thanks!

We still don’t have a clear picture, existing graphics cards aren’t close to reaching X16 PCI-E 3.0, so you’re unlikely to hit any limits.

Generally it should work, a Gen 3 X16 should cover the 3080's bandwidth, but wait until the ampere kicks in before confirming.
