I understand the reasoning behind using Wi-Fi for gaming. As for which card performs best, let me check the latest results and share them. TIA!

Performance relies entirely on your equipment, location, signal quality, traffic, device count, and more—no single solution fits all.

I operate the ROG AX11000 router, roughly 20 feet away with one wall separating it. I've noticed some user feedback about overheating and shutdowns in certain models, while others perform better. Thanks!

For an AX Wi-Fi card, choose the specified part from PCPartPicker. If unavailable, use the alternatives listed.

With this router, you’ll likely stay well within the 50x50 line without needing to worry about hitting the ax speed. The more affordable option should work just fine for your needs.

Yah, at 50x50 then no need for AX. Just stick with cheaper AC stuff.

It looks like you're highlighting the advantages of AX technology. Once neighbors upgrade, you won't compete as much for spectrum. Even with a 50x50 setup, if they're boosting their WiFi, yours can slow down significantly. I think latency should improve on AX too, and it's not that much more costly than AC.
