I own an Asus P5E3 Pro motherboard with a Q6600 processor OC from 2.4 to 3ghz by adjusting the multiplier to x9 and FSB to 333. I'm considering whether to set the PCI-E to 100mhz or let it auto. I'm unsure if my graphics card supports auto, as I have an ASUS EAH6970.
When modifying FSB, ensure you manually set PCIe to 100MHz as it varies with FSB speeds and might negatively impact PCIe cards.
