PCI-E interface fails to detect Wi-Fi connection.
Hey there, I just set up a temporary PC and chose a PCIe card that includes both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Since my motherboard lacked built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, I ended up using a PCIe adapter. I bought the TP-Link AC1200 Wi-Fi 5 Dual Band PCI-E with Bluetooth 4.2 from MicroCenter. After installing the drivers, my Wi-Fi didn’t connect properly. I tried a USB Wi-Fi dongle that works fine on another device, which connected to its network. My question is: which PCIe Wi-Fi and Bluetooth adapters are compatible with my setup? I came across an AX3000 model from ASUS that supports 160MHz, Bluetooth 5.0, WPA3, OFDMA, and MU-MIMO. Does this one work with my PCIe card? It’s not clear if it matters, but I have a high-speed Nighthawk router without issues. Could anyone help or suggest a better option? Thanks!
