Wizard needed! Issue: Can't access BIOS no matter what I try. Ran out of RAM, changed slots, used restart commands, ran Windows diagnostics—still nothing. PC works fine in Windows, stress tested, GPU overclocked, no stability problems. Need to boot into BIOS to enable Secure Boot for Battlefield 6 specs: CPU AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, GPU RTX 5090, motherboard X870E, WiFi 7, 128GB G-SKILL RAM at 3600MT/s. Any clues or fixes?

This involves Windows advanced startup settings. The process may result in a black screen. It depends on your connection type—HDMI or DP.

Have you attempted using the DEL key during startup? Focus on the drive activity indicator, not the screen, and as soon as it starts to flicker, press the DEL key.

Have you considered linking your monitor directly to the motherboard rather than the GPU? It might be setting up BIOS on the integrated graphics for a reason.

Good question about the boot logo. It appears it only activates when the system loads. If that's the case, then Needfuldoer might be handling the display logic.

The system displays the BIOS loading screen and starts Windows normally, but it seems to be entering the BIOS incorrectly. The BIOS key is DEL. Pressing it causes the PC to crash and does nothing afterward.

It seems the BIOS might be the issue. Before starting any fixes, make sure you back up your important files. You're not sure if enabling Secure Boot could damage your Windows. Have you tried resetting the CMOS memory? If you're fortunate, this should restore BIOS functionality. Are you aware of the current BIOS version? If your system isn't using the newest BIOS, updating it might help. Always clear the CMOS after installation. Is your device still under warranty? Frequent crashes during BIOS setup could justify a repair or replacement. Good luck!

I did trying clearing the CMOS by bridging the header but not removed the battery etc. I built the PC myself tbf so no warranty other than parts. The PC runs perfectly fine and has 0 issues when in windows so I don't think there's huge issues but I feel like the motherboard could be the issue here. I'll try and remove the CMOS battery for a while and see what happens

To guarantee full compliance, disconnect the power from the wall outlet and remove the CR2032 battery. Connect the pins and press the power button several times. BIOS problems are typically handled by the motherboard warranty because it's a hardware part. If you're unsure about using a computer without BIOS access, it's up to you to decide if it meets your requirements. Enjoy your day!

It seems unlikely a bios problem exists; you'd expect more than just the entry key to be impacted, but it wouldn't hurt to replace the bios. Since you have a flashback in your bios, fixing it should be easy.
