PC wont turn on
I entered the BIOS after adjusting the host clock from 100 to 200. The machine stopped responding, and it no longer powers on. Only the power button lights up, along with the RAM indicators. No fans are activated. I’m new to this, so please be patient...
PD: even the post code on the motherboard, along with the light indicators (CPU, RAM, boot, VGA), don’t turn on. When I press the power button, nothing seems to happen.
The memory was overclocked to 2933mhz before this, and it was stable before. I had a previous problem with the BIOS not posting, which required flashing it. It turned out the RGB fusion was the cause of the issue. Here’s a bit about my experience with this motherboard.
I believe it won’t damage the motherboard or CPU since only the speed changed—no voltages were altered.
Details:
CPU: Ryzen 7 1700
MOBO: Gigabyte ax370 gaming k7
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1080 X

Overclocking requires patience. You adjusted your base clock from 100 to 200 WTF? Always look for a guide if you're just starting like

If your motherboard has a button to discharge OC settings and boot, you can press it and it will start without CPU/RAM overclocking, then you can lower the OC settings.
If your motherboard doesn't have that button, just reset it and it should work fine

If not, simply reset the board—it should work without OC or RAM issues.
I found out the PSU is dead, but everything else functions. I’m unsure if it was the PSU, just that the power supply failed.
The PSU in use is a Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 750W.
Sorry for the delayed reply; my account couldn’t log in properly and the password reset didn’t work. Thanks!
