I took my PC off the power source and waited two hours before plugging it back in, but it didn’t turn on. I swapped out the PSU with a new one without success. I tested various connectors, still no result. Might the CMOS battery be worn out or dead? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time.

The battery isn't the issue here, as it will still function even without it. When you turn on the computer, it remains completely silent—no fans, no lights, nothing at all? Make sure the wall socket isn't dead. Check all cables and connections to ensure they're secure. Did you forget to verify the power button on the back of the PSU?

Thank you for your reply.
Everything stayed completely quiet; no lights, no fan, nothing at all.
The PSU is brand new. I tested it and it functions properly.
I used three different wall sockets (with a lamp) but still got nothing.
Tried three different power cables as well, without success.
Replaced the RAM and HDD, and all the cables were checked.
I removed the CMOS battery for a minute and then put it back in.
When I took it off the wall, I meant I disconnected the circuit or voltage breaker and reconnected it. The breaker is working fine now with another computer; it’s not faulty.
