PC won't start, issue remains unresolved possibly?
Hey everyone, I’m facing a strange problem with my PC: it powers on but doesn’t display anything or send any signal to the monitor. It worked before, but recently it would lock up and black screen several times, which would resolve with a simple restart. Now it turns on but shows nothing. The red VGA indicator stays lit, but I’ve tried many troubleshooting steps.
I’ve replaced the RAM sticks, GPUs, PCIe slots, tested the monitor and cables on another machine, removed the battery and PSU, cleared CMOS, unplugged everything except the display port cable, and even tried one stick of RAM in different ports. I also swapped a new PSU and a MOBO, cleaned everything thoroughly, and changed the CPU—though it still has bent pins. The VGA light is on, which makes me suspect a GPU issue, but I’ve tested everything else.
My current build is a X470 gaming plus max with a 2070 Super Ryzen 9 3900X. Thanks for your help and advice!
"The VGA light on your motherboard is part of the motherboard's POST (Power-On Self-Test) system. If the light remains on after booting, it generally indicates that there is a problem with the graphics card or its connection to the motherboard." If you have integrated graphics, try that with your GPU removed, or if you can borrow another graphics board for troubleshooting.
I understand. Using the integrated graphics can still be helpful.

You seem to be wasting my time with unoriginal advice, and your comments don’t add much worth to this discussion. I hope you understand, though I’m actually far from anywhere useful.
And through your remarks, it seems you have shown a surprising lack of politeness toward someone trying to assist you. I had no idea where you were or how skilled you are, so I only wanted to help those who looked like they needed it. I will definitely avoid commenting on your posts moving forward.
