I made an adjustment in the BIOS settings on my Asus motherboard x370 Pro, switching it from Auto to D.C.O.P. Now the PC won't boot properly—fans are running, the GPU lights are on, and even the motherboard's decorative lights are active (likely indicating power is being supplied). What should I do?

1. cut off power from the wall
2. remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard for 2 minutes
3. reinsert the battery onto the motherboard
4. restore power and restart.

If this doesn't work, proceed with step nr. 1 and 2, then visit your nearby supermarket to purchase a fresh battery of the same CMOS type and install it in place of the old one.
