PC won't boot
PC won't boot
I assembled my PC two years ago and haven’t faced major issues. The only changes since then were adding an extra SSD and HDD. I usually power it off at night, but when I tried to turn it back on this afternoon it wouldn’t start. I’ve attempted replacing the CMOS battery, shorting front panel pins, booting after reseating RAM, and booting without the GPU. Is there anything else I should try before assuming a faulty PSU or motherboard? Parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FgYZh7
You might also attempt to disconnect the computer from the power source, check for voltage in the wall outlet, then connect it back and see if it starts up. If power is present but the system remains unresponsive, swapping out the power supply unit could help. Good luck!
I've made the changes to the post and included my parts list.
I don't have access to that information. Could you provide the BIOS version details or check your motherboard's documentation?
