Hey everyone, I just completed my new setup: 7600x3d, sapphire 9070xt pulse, MSI B850 gaming plus with Wi-Fi, RMS 750x PSU, two 16GB Kingston Fury 6000 CL30 and a 2TB SSD. Peerless Assassin 140 Phanteks XT ultra pro. My issue is it won’t even boot. I changed parts like RAM, SSD, and motherboard, but nothing works. The PC starts up and spins the fans, whereas before after replacing components my GPU fans were still running. I tried a CMOS reset, flashed the BIOS, but nothing changed. I waited a few minutes to boot for 3 to 10 minutes, but it still doesn’t work. I attached some photos of the connections, but I’m stuck figuring out what’s wrong. Also, when I first tried to build it (with replaced parts), the setup window said “F1 to run setup…” but it got stuck and didn’t respond. Any help would be super appreciated!

Try launching with just one stick in DIMM2. Shift the sticks to verify both work. You have EZ Debug LEDs—identify which one remains active when powered on: CPU, DRAM, VGA, or BOOT?

I attempted but it doesn't start. The CPU and DRAM indicators remain active during power-on.

Most likely there is something wrong with the CPU. Start by clearing the CMOS memory. Check all cables and connectors (especially the EPS that plug near the CPU. Check for bent pins in the socket and make sure the CPU is mounted with correct and even pressure. Did you check if the current BIOS supports your CPU ? It may be time to upgrade your BIOS with M-flash. Then clear the CMOS memory afterwards. If the CPU light is still lighting up, you probably have a bad CPU. Time to get it tested on another computer or return for an exchange. Good luck !

It connects the PCIe slot at the bottom of your motherboard, allowing you to add expansion cards like graphics cards or network adapters.

It seems like you're planning to return something and try a different CPU. You mentioned gratitude for your effort.

Review the motherboard manual to confirm it isn’t required for booting.

I don't believe I can utilize that. I only have empty slots on the PSU.

Have you attempted to reinstall the CPU? Noted that the bottom power connector is for additional PCIe power.
