It seems the issue was with the power supply unit. The system powers on briefly before cutting off completely, even though the monitor remains connected to the motherboard. I used an i7 8700k with no GPU, B365M DS3H motherboard, and two 16GB RAM modules. The PSU is a SEGOTEP 1250w PSU, possibly the correct one, but I'm still unsure. The CPU cooler functions properly, and the first board wouldn't work anymore, so I replaced it with a B360M. The SSD was disconnected. After updating to a different motherboard, it started working again briefly before shutting off. Streamable is available at streamable.com.
What are the origins of these components? You mention it's a new PC, but the motherboard and CPU are from several years back, and I'm uncertain about the rest. Are you asking if it's just a fresh build or if these parts have never been used before? You also suggest checking the CPU cooler, as the RAM seems to be very close to it, possibly causing issues. If it does, removing one stick might resolve the problem. If not, try removing another stick and see if that works.
Only certain components remain unused; the attempt involved using one stick of RAM despite trying another, and the PSU passed a pin test without issues. After disconnecting and reconnecting everything, the fans started briefly but then stopped completely without any LED indication.
It appears to be a BIOS problem preventing posting. Clearing the CMOS might help—uncertain if the board supports it or if a ten-minute battery removal is required. Since the manufacturer uses dual BIOS, it should revert to the backup default during startup.
