Hello everyone. This problem has been affecting me since I rebuilt my PC in January this year. Whenever I try to turn it off, the fans kick on completely and there’s no screen with the orange motherboard indicator. There’s no display at all, and the only way to shut it down is by disconnecting the power source. I’ve updated my BIOS, drivers, checked the Windows power settings, re-seated all connections, but the situation remains unchanged. Here are my specifications:
Asus tuff x670e plus Wi-Fi
AMD r9 7900x
Rtx 2070 super
32 gigs of RAM
1000 watt Corsair Platinum PSU
Multiple SSDs
My temperatures are normal and the system runs fine otherwise. I’m also using legacy boot mode with Windows 10 because I can’t get UEFI to work. I’m at my limit and almost considering taking it to a repair shop. Please assist!

My PC would behave the same way if I attempted a restart. It seems Ryzen 7000 models (possibly just the motherboard chipsets) don't support XMP profile RAM. I switched from G.Skill Ripjaws S5 to G.Skill Flare X5 EXPO and all my problems disappeared. So, do you have XMP or EXPO RAM?

Thank you for your reply - it seems you already own a G.Skill Z5 EXPO RAM.
