Asrock Z390 Phantom Gaming 6, ASUS GTX 1070, i7-8700K, DDR3200 (Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16), 500gb SSD, 250gb m.2, 2tb HDD. The issue began last week with the computer turning off during sleep mode, but the PC remains powered on with lights. This had not occurred previously. It appears to have started after updating the BIOS from version 1.30 to 4.20, which failed, and is currently set at 4.0. Sleep power has been verified as normal. What further checks should be performed?

Updating the BIOS for 4.20 was solely to enable compatibility with the 9900K CPU. It is generally unwise to update the BIOS simply to maintain its latest version. If experiencing issues, access the BIOS exit menu and reset the BIOS to its default/original settings to assess if this resolves the problem.

I updated BIOS to resolve RAM speed adjustments issues, specifically enabling 3200MHz speeds, which I now successfully match. Previously, I was unable to achieve this with 2933MHz.
