I restart my computer and it freezes on the BIOS splash screen. If I press the BIOS button before a certain time, it works but after waiting it gets stuck again. No input functions when in BIOS. Every action seems to cause issues. I've used different drives like Windows 10, 11, Ubuntu, plus USB sticks. Also tried Windows 10, 11, and Ubuntu bootable media, but the same problem occurs. My PC has a PCIe Gen 3 card, PCIe Gen 4 slot, 2.5" SSD, hybrid HDD, two USB drives. I removed RAM and changed each one individually, did multiple CMOS resets, updated BIOS with everything unplugged, tried without a graphics card, re-seated the CPU, used Safe Mode, but the boot error light stays on. My specs are: Corsair 4000D airflow CPU, Ryzen 5 7600X, Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX RAM (2x16GB), 5200MHz CL36 DDR5 EXPO GPU, MSI RTX 2080 Ti, EVGA CLC 280 PSU, Corsair HX850i. I don’t know what to do, please help.

Consider another system configuration. Try varying the RAM or power supply unit. It didn’t assist for me, but perhaps someone else will find success

I don't believe it's the PSU since it functioned in two other systems; I'm sure it's the motherboard, and I'm reaching out to Gigabyte support to see if they can help switch something else.

Turn off all unnecessary devices to restart, including every USB port and front panel USB connector on the board. Disconnect any extra add-ons such as card readers or disc drives that aren’t directly connected. I faced an issue similar to this with a card reader linked through the board’s USB header.

Only add extra storage, keep the boot drive active—no mouse, no keyboard, just press the power button.

I've finished all the steps except booting from the drive and display port, it's still not working.

I didn't do anything with it before the problem began—just checking updates and making sure the case was clean.

I left the computer on for half a day and it finally started up, but I’m not sure why it took so long
