Throughout most of my life I have played on consoles and have remained very loyal to them. I only recently began gaming on PC (though unfortunately I haven’t been able to use the keyboard and mouse, so I’m sticking with a controller.) I built my first PC just over a year ago and have upgraded several components, but it’s still only mid-range. Now, I’ve started playing GTA V, which I used to play a lot on PS4, and I’m amazed at how much better it is on PC! It’s a huge eye-opener...

For me, the main advantage is the keyboard and mouse. If you haven't tried it yet, you should.

I understand. The controller has its role in specific games, but K&M excels significantly in FPS, whether single or multiplayer. Your movement, aiming, and overall experience will feel much better.

It's a bit unclear if you're using a PC, why you haven't played games with a keyboard and mouse. Are you trying console ports or fighting games that work better with a gamepad? Not using the mouse and keyboard on a computer is similar to saying you own a car but haven't left your driveway—you might think the real roads will take you further.

I can follow my gaming background from a Commodore 64 onward, but after Nintendo, I stayed with consoles. I've been wanting to build a PC for a while, so I did it last year, but mostly use it as a home PC or HTPC. I would have liked to get used to using a mouse and keyboard, but my left hand limited my ability to make the switch. I'm just beginning to see just how powerful a PC can be.
