PC version of Halo 5 with MI5 support
PC version of Halo 5 with MI5 support
I was just watching Mission Impossible 5. There was a clip of Halo 5 displayed—playing on Windows 10 (ALT + TAB was visible) using Eyefinity or NV Surround. That’s correct. It seems the game is actually running natively on my PC. The gameplay also feels different from the beta, almost matching a final version. Given Microsoft invested so much into making a PC-compatible release, this might hint at an upcoming PC launch. I reached out to Xbox Support about it. The representative was away for a few minutes before returning with a smile, which adds more weight to the situation. This is quite intriguing!
You can watch them, but it doesn't quite match and adds $350 plus $60 in retail costs.
They’d likely earn sufficient income by switching to a full PC setup instead of sticking with Xbox. It’s a missed opportunity for R/D, and I suspect they’d lose money on all Xbox One sales. The criteria for exclusives would be relatively easy to meet, allowing them to target budget SFF gaming PCs.
They think having exclusives is a bad idea. You should pick the platform you prefer, like Xbox or PC. They can choose to release it on either if they want to focus on Microsoft.
They wouldn't make that move unless it meant saving money by avoiding sales of their consoles for exclusive titles.
