Check your PC specs for GTA V compatibility. With an Intel G3258 at 3.4GHz, a 260 1GB GPU, and 6GB RAM, see if the game meets the system requirements.

It should work but be ready to cut all controls to near-zero performance. GTA drains resources heavily and the 260 model is outdated. I noticed it on a friend's setup using an iGPU from an i7-3770 with just 1 GB of VRAM—he struggled to play 1080p even at low settings because the RAM was limited.

Will it start? Yes. Performs well? No. -Expanded It should launch on your machine, though with limited performance at lower configurations. The processor isn't powerful enough for current high-demand titles, and the graphics card is even more constrained, often lacking sufficient VRAM for modern games. Running it at 720p might work, but 1080p will be challenging. Memory usage could become a bottleneck if your system isn't optimized, while the GPU and CPU may also limit overall speed.

You’ll need a solid gaming PC with at least an i5-4460, an ASUS 960 processor, and around 8GB of RAM to run GTA well.

Sure, that sounds great. The R9 380 offers 3 or 4 GB of VRAM, which should handle GTA well. You can find it on Amazon for around $211 for a 4 GB model – it’s a solid choice.
