You're a PC gamer, but maybe it's time to return to your console and grab the next big title for PC.
Head over to the PC for a smoother vibe. Enjoy 64-player rooms, 1080p or better, 60fps plus, and it includes CTE.
It's the same experience but with more players and possibly sharper graphics. You'll need to adjust from console to PC, as aim assistance isn't immediately intuitive if you're not used to PC gaming. CTE offers a Community Test Environment for PC users, and there are some cool features or servers with unique game modes.
I switched from PS3/4 to a PC since the games were too much and the costs were high. I also required a PC for video editing, as my laptop was no longer capable. Say goodbye to my Dell Latitude e6410 (2013-2015).
I voted "PC" because it is the better platform, but that's only if you have a PC powerful enough to run it. Also you should wait for a sale as well. You usually can get BF4+Premium for $30 on sale and I think that's a steal, but if you don't have enough power to run the game then there's no point buying it. If you could list your PC specs I'd be more comfortable recommending you jumping ship to PC, otherwise stick with console.
If it were a PS4, I’d recommend sticking with it. It looks like DICE pushed the boundaries of physics to get this title working on older consoles. The PC experience would be noticeably different, and I think I’d likely switch platforms without hesitation. Check out an engaging comparison video for more insight.
It's hard to believe the game was so different back then. Playing Halo 4 on a 360 after the console change is tough, but if you're into it, give it a try.
