I have a spec with an 8GB RAM, GTX 970, Intel i7 4960K, and a slow 2TB HDD from Seagate. I can achieve ultra smooth performance at 45 to 60 FPS, mostly around 55 FPS. I rarely notice screen tearing except during cut scenes or when my frame rate spikes to 60+. I experienced a crash once after about 17 hours of playtime. The graphics render well, and the games offer good control over video and screen settings. Overall, it seems like a solid port with minor bugs expected to be fixed soon. EDIT: Locked at 60 FPS after a few hours of gameplay.

MSAA seems too complex, FXAA worked well in Unity, probably because of that. You might cap FPS at 62 to cut down on tearing, though it won’t eliminate it entirely—it still happens but less often (depends on the engine).

It seems like you're experiencing poor performance, especially on low settings. That's not uncommon with similar hardware.

It looks like a solid choice, wouldn't you say? I'd definitely recommend it.

It seems the performance is solid at 45-60 on Very High, but the cloth feels stuck at 30fps, especially noticeable on Evie's cape.

Steam ratings hover around 84%. Typically the feedback is quite critical. I tried mine recently. Comparing other opinions, this version looks significantly improved compared to Unity. It seems Ubi has taken their mistakes into account.

He dropped in a R9-270X to check the performance, using the lowest settings—1080 resolution and 2GB of RAM (the stats show it’s being utilized, around 1850 MB constantly). It managed 50-60 frames per second with only minor drops when scenes slowed to 20fps. Compared to Unity on the same card, it struggled to hit 10fps during gameplay. Still, the visuals feel muddy at these levels, but it’s playable, which is what matters for a game!

That's cool—everything looks set on ultra and you're nailing 45 to 60 fps at 970. Either you're really good at this or my performance is off. I'm using high settings and still getting 40 to 55 fps outside.

It also causes a lot of tearing, but v-sync removes that issue. My TV runs at 60Hz, which works well for me.
