Hello everyone! My name is Andrew and I’m facing some issues. I purchased my PC components three years ago and put everything together. Here’s the setup:
- Motherboard: Asus X570 Prime
- RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo (2x16 GB)
- GPU: AMD RX 5700 8GB
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
- Power supply: EVGA 850 GQ
- Fans: 5 cooling units, plus one SSD for Windows and another for each other program

In the past few days, my PC has been behaving oddly. Problems include:
- Random shutdowns followed by a restart after 3–4 seconds (code 41)
- Instant shutdown on restart sometimes
- Shutdowns occur while browsing or idle
- Mouse acts weird – sometimes I can’t click or drag, hover doesn’t show anything
- Cursor moves normally but hover effects fail
- Keyboard works perfectly; mouse is down now

I checked for overheating, tested stress tests, reset BIOS and OS, cleaned cables, used compressed air, and even tried a different PSU. I also used only one RAM stick and swapped it with another. The Windows SSD shows 73% health, but no slowdown is visible.

I’ve tried resetting CMOS, updating drivers, reinstalling the OS, and checking power connections. LED fans were unplugged, and I checked the power splitter. I’m worried about a motherboard issue or a faulty mouse. The symptoms seem to happen during normal tasks, not gaming or heavy apps.

Could you suggest what I should do? Any tips to resolve this before my exam? I’d really appreciate your advice and ideas!
