Purchase genuine copies to avoid receiving random items. What about an antivirus? Ccleaner is mainly for organizing storage and seems largely ineffective. You might even be clearing temporary files your games rely on, causing them to waste resources unnecessarily.

What kind of FPS are the systems you’re comparing yourself to actually achieving?

If you genuinely feel like your FPS isn’t sufficient, the best solution is to upgrade your internet speed and computer performance. The improvement in single-core performance between your old Intel and new AMD is minimal, possibly even negligible in certain applications. The GPU can only compensate so much, and increasing the resolution might be the main reason for the drop.

The strain from singleplayer and multiplayer isn’t similar, and online games tend to be more CPU-intensive. Running games from a slow HDD is a poor choice, particularly for online play. If you’re confident your system isn’t overheating (check clock speeds, not temperatures), it’s likely that hardware limitations are the issue.

We need concrete data. Benchmarks, screenshots, and real results are essential. But first, stop relying on an outdated, energy-efficient HDD—it will harm your performance in various ways.

For internet, I can't upgrade right now. For the HDD, I plan to upgrade soon and will do my best. Regarding antivirus, I scanned my whole PC with Windows Defender and everything is fine. I used the same settings on my older PC, but even then, I still see the same FPS in GTA Online. I noticed that games with better FPS are on SSDs, so I’ll try running Far Cry on an SSD to check if performance improves. Also, upgrading from an i3 4150 to a Ryzen 5 2400G is a big jump—definitely a noticeable boost in FPS, right?

I'm aiming for at least 80 fps in GTA Online, but my setup doesn't allow that. I can handle more demanding games and they run smoothly since I meet the recommended specs.

I also noticed that when I'm by myself in a lobby in GTA Online, my frames remain excellent, around 60 to 80, and they don't drop at all.

So I installed fc new dawn on my m.2 ssd and noticed a big improvement. When I played the game on the hdd, it maintained around 20 fps for two minutes, then my FPS would drop significantly. On the ssd, my FPS stayed steady between 70 to 80 without any drops. I think if I put GTA on the ssd, it would load much faster and run better.
