Avoid downloading those questionable programs—they’ll just flood your system with ads, extensions, and toolbars. If you’re concerned about performance, run a malware scan.

I use the AVG TuneUp tool. It functions well for me and I appreciate the ability to make changes easily without having to search through the control panel. However, I don’t suggest any other programs.

He uses Tune Up Utilities regularly and notices benefits for a couple of months before problems arise. After six months, he usually needs a full reinstallation. A one-year update works fine for him.
