You might be able to run the standard EXE on a USB drive, but ensure it’s compatible with your system. Check the requirements listed in the game’s documentation before attempting installation.

It’s really pointless with such a big disk. I’d rather keep everything on a compact USB drive, ideally one that attaches to my keyring for easy access.

It should be, as if nothing else is installed, the installer is the only one present. Other portable options I usually have are Hard Disk Sentinel, EasyRecovery, Norton Ghost, ProduKey, RwEverything, and Slim Drivers.
