It’s really pointless with such a big disk. I’d rather keep everything on a compact USB drive, ideally one that attaches to my keyring for easy access.

It should be, as if nothing else is installed, the installer is the only one present. Other portable options I usually have are Hard Disk Sentinel, EasyRecovery, Norton Ghost, ProduKey, RwEverything, and Slim Drivers.

I typically install Hiren's BootCD onto a bootable USB stick. It comes with an offline setup tool and all the necessary features.

We're all set! Usually I download from P2P platforms and verify the hash, but I believe they've improved the speed on the original site now.
