I've been handling many virus removals lately, so I figured it'd be handy to have several diagnostic tools on a USB drive. Here are some of the apps I've already added: PortableApps Chrome Portable Spybot Search and Destroy Portable ClamWin Portable Kaspersky TDSSKiller Eraser Portable KeePass. Are there any others you think I should install?
I suggest checking out Ninite.com, which bundles several apps into a single installer. I try it on new operating systems.
Consider running file recovery tools just in case they become necessary. SoftPerfect offers a useful set of portable software options you may find helpful.

Great selection of tools. The AV options you mentioned really stand out, especially how well they handle older scans. I’ve added a few more to my setup.
I also have a 7zip portable for archiving, a CCleaner burner for CDs, and Crystal Disk Info with HDtune for checking drives. Daphne Process Manager helps when a virus blocks the task manager, and File Assassin can wipe files if you’re careful.
Hardware Monitor, SpyDLL Remover, and a guide on partitioning USB sticks are useful too. Linux offers solid antivirus choices, and I usually stick with ClamAV.

Don't overlook benchmarking tools—they're super useful for identifying hardware problems. MSI Afterburner, CPU-Z, GPU-Z, Furmark, AIDA64, Prime95, MSI Kombuster, 3D—those are all handy. Steam can actually run from a USB alone, according to what I remember. HWMonitor (the CPUID version is my go-to)
