My PC stutters and slows down real bad when I’m playing GTA 5, which recommends 4GB RAM to play. When I go to Task Manager the memory is at 96% with GTA 5 using 3.5 million MB and with Chrome using only 500MB (no adblock enabled). Please help edit: I ran a test again

New system utilizes a single channel ram which isn’t sufficient anymore. Furthermore, GTA V requires over 8GBs of RAM during gameplay. Limit frame rate to 60, reducing CPU strain.

New single-channel RAM doesn’t cut it anymore. Also, GTA V is known to use more than 8GBs of RAM at times. Cap fps to 60, that’ll lighten the load for the CPU.

I play CSGO and the game recommends 4GB, however, that didn’t cut it for me. 8 GB is standard for gaming, it’s time you upgrade my friend.

These days 16GB dual channel RAM is recommended for gaming with 8GB dual channel being the bare minimum.
