It doesn’t make sense when I play a graphics-heavy game and my PC loses the Ethernet connection. I have to restart it for it to reconnect. Every time my fans speed up, I lose the connection again. I have a 3070 Ti Ryzen 5 5700X with 16 GB RAM on a B55A board. Anyone have any tips?

Hi there! I'll begin by making sure your chipset driver is current. Once the game loads, it should run smoothly without issues. I'll also look into whether your power supply can provide sufficient energy and verify that all connections are secure and correctly placed.

It's an unusual issue with this computer for a while. The PSU is 750W and it's working fine, so I haven't disconnected anything. I'm going to look into the chipset driver.

Brand and efficiency score indicate performance, but the model refers to specific examples like CX or RM. Updates for wifi drivers are available from the motherboard's official site, in addition to chipset drivers.

You checked the manufacturer's site and installed drivers, but internet drops during demanding games. Have you made any software or hardware adjustments before this problem began?

I made no changes to my PC except replacing some RAM sticks. I had 32 and removed two, so I’m currently at 16. I also installed the motherboard drivers via Armoury Crate for my ASUS board.

You removed two sticks and installed an Armoury Crate? I assumed Armoury Crate is mainly for RGB and fans, but sometimes running it can cause problems. One possible fix is to use the uninstall tool to remove it, as that’s the only way to try.
