What I intended to say is that Recovery Mode isn't meant for constant use, but rather for a long-term test. Try running your computer in Recovery mode just to check if the shutdowns persist. If they cease, it suggests the problem isn't with the power supply or installation, but possibly with certain programs or recent updates.
