Hello! I recently purchased a pre-built PC in January and have been using it normally until now. The issue started when playing certain games, causing the system to shut down. It’s not related to overheating, as temperatures stayed below 70°C during testing. The shutdown happens gradually, not abruptly, and doesn’t display any error codes or blue screens. I’ve noticed the game is running constantly on Call of Duty Black Ops 2, which I wanted to replay. After playing for about five minutes, it randomly stops. I’ve tried updating drivers with DDU and reinstalling them, but the problem persists. Sometimes restarting or turning off the PC resolves it. I’m not sure if my PSU is the cause, but I haven’t eliminated that possibility. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

It's possible the board is getting a shutdown command from a part that spotted an issue and wants to stop the machine. The exact cause of the problem isn't clear yet, but you might consider updating the BIOS and inspecting all temperature sensors—not just the CPU or GPU ones. There could be other components overheating, such as VRMs or another tiny chip.

I'll definitely attempt the BIOS update and check the remaining temperature sensors. Appreciate the help!

The RAM model is Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, BIOS labeled A.CC in System Info. Planning to attempt an update as recommended.

The BIOS update appeared to resolve the problem. It seems this was a frequent issue with the Vengeance a7200s, and I discovered several other discussions about it. Appreciate the assistance!
