PC stops working after playing games for a while
Hey there,
I wanted to share some details about my recent PC upgrade. I installed a Ryzen 5 7600X, two 8GB Hyperx RAM sticks, and a Gigabyte A620M motherboard. My GPU is an RTX 3060 Ti with a 550W Corsair Bronze power supply. Recently, I faced issues with demanding games—my PC would completely shut down, showing only a black screen, and it wouldn’t boot unless I restored the power switch. I used MSI Afterburner to investigate, but the temperatures were normal: CPU around 35°C in idle, GPU at 45°C, and CPU at 25% load around 65°C. The shutdown happened at similar temps.
I’ve checked the thermal paste on the CPU and cleaned the GPU regularly; it’s about 1.5 years old. There are four case fans installed, and the CPU cooler is a beQuiet Pure Rock 2 model.
Could you help figure out what’s going on? Thanks!

I’m keeping my old graphics card for the previous rig, power supply, and HDD. After finishing the build, I tested whether the PC would boot up but noticed no display on the monitor... forums. You haven’t replied to that discussion, but did you dispose of your older OS drive?
