I'm glad my friends persuaded me to try this new game, and I was excited to play. But after finishing the tutorial, it keeps crashing my computer. I don't understand why this is happening and would really appreciate your assistance. My PC details: I'm not an expert, so this list might not cover everything. Hardware: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, AMD Ryzen 5 2600, six-core processor, 2 x F4-3000C16D-16GB RAM, PURE POWER 11 L11-CM-500W power supply, MSI B450M PRO-VDH motherboard. Storage: ct500mx500ssd1 and TOSHIBA HDWD110. I also have a PCI Wi-Fi adapter and a CD drive. Software: I believe all drivers should be installed. I try to keep everything updated and have the necessary programs for my PC installed. If you think this issue might be related, I can list what I have, but for now I'm not sure enough about these matters. All I can say is that I use Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. The problem: When I start EldenRing, it usually works fine. The game launches quickly, the interface is clear, no lag. I checked my PC load in Task Manager and everything seems normal—no overheating or overload. Then I launch the game. I experimented with various graphics settings, from low to high resolution, even using GeForce Experience recommendations. The game runs smoothly, no frame drops or stutters. I can move freely and attack enemies without issues. But after about 10 seconds to a few minutes, the screen goes black and my PC starts acting like a turbo engine. All fans spin up, but I can still hear the game sounds. I was chatting with friends on Discord, explaining the situation, and they kept playing while I shut down my PC. Welcome to Dark Souls slur. Hhrrmm if you still had audio, then it's neither a BSOD nor a thermal shutdown. What other games do you enjoy? Or, more directly, which demanding titles are you into? Also, could you tell me what your PSU is?
Elden Ring proves too tough for me, I’m stopping now. Consider running a CPU test with Prime95 using Small FFTs for an hour, check RAM with Memtest86 for three hours, and test the GPU with GPUPI 3.3.3.
