PC stopped working during the game and isn't connecting to the monitor - - - are all fans still running?
My monitor stopped working during a CSGO session, and after restarting my PC I couldn’t get the display to function properly. I’ve replaced the graphics card, power supply, RAM, monitor, and cable, but nothing resolved the problem. After swapping the power supply, the indicator light that shows the computer is on didn’t turn on, and the RGB changed to white instead of my previous setting. These changes haven’t fixed the issue, and I’m running out of options. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
What are the complete specifications? It might be anything, but there are clear indicators of power-related damage affecting your parts.
Ryzen 7 5700G, Asus Strix RX 5600 XT, 750 watt Corsair power supply purchased today.
What kind of motherboard you're using and whether it has 2x16GB or 4x8GB of DRAM.
Which slots are you using for the DRAM? I'm assuming DIMMA2/B2. Which slot did you leave empty?
Regardless, I recommend trying DIMMA1/B1 (or A2/B2 if you already have them in A1/B1). If switching slots helps, the issue might be with the motherboard; otherwise, it could involve the CPU. This assumes that populating one channel works.
Thanks for your assistance. I'll try this after returning from work, hoping it's just the motherboard.
