I was experimenting with my computer to resolve another problem, but now it can't load into Windows. It freezes at the login screen and remains stuck there. I've noticed it stays there for more than an hour, and the lights stay on when the machine is turned off. I'm not very experienced with troubleshooting, so please describe the situation in as detailed a way as possible.

Hardware: Aorus B550 pro motherboard, RX 580 Sapphire Pulse GPU, AMD 3600 CPU, 16 GB RAM.

I would attempt to start in safe mode using a network connection, verify the cable is present, download the latest DDU and GPU drivers, remove existing GPU drivers, restart without the network cable, and install fresh drivers once operational. After that, reconnect the network.

It means restarting the device while keeping its network connection active.

after three crashes it typically enters troubleshooting mode. in this section you can choose to boot without drivers, which may reveal a problematic driver causing the crash. if available, you can opt to skip the splash screen and load only essential drivers so you can remove the faulty one. if it fails to enter safe mode, the problem is likely hardware-related—such as disk, RAM, CPU, or motherboard—but could also stem from a BIOS misconfiguration. if it doesn’t reach troubleshooting mode, try installing the system on another drive to preserve your data. however, incorrect BIOS settings might also be the cause. if you encounter issues in BIOS, reset it to factory settings and test again. if none of this makes sense, consult someone familiar with the system.

Sorry for the lack of response. I've attempted but it appears to avoid troubleshooting steps, and even tried swapping out the CMOS battery twice without success. I do have a Windows installation USB available, but it also seems reluctant to boot, often returning me to BIOS. I'm running out of ideas on what to try next.

It seems the system is encountering issues with loading the disk. Are you using an M.2 NVMe SSD, a standard SATA SSD, or another type? Did you adjust any settings related to M.2, SATA, CSM, or UEFI during troubleshooting?

I approached the problem by breaking it down into clear steps, ensuring each action was logical and easy to follow. This method helps others understand the process without getting lost in complexity.
