My computer starts up straight into Windows without showing the BIOS or boot symbol.
This issue occurs occasionally, sometimes it appears and other times it doesn't.
Device details: HP Z230
No GPU present, but the device is linked through DisplayPort on the motherboard.

often it only requires a few extra seconds or milliseconds for the display to start up.
the screens and the option to enter the BIOS remain available, though they are not visible.
if you're experiencing issues with the BIOS, you can even opt to enter directly during the next boot from within the operating system.

But I need to grasp the reason behind the issue
As I discussed earlier, the issue arises occasionally and at other times it doesn't, indicating it's not a steady problem.

Which Windows version are you using? If it's Windows 10, press and hold the Shift key while restarting, then go to Troubleshoot, Advanced options, UEFI firmware settings, and finally BIOS if needed. You may also want to check if your BIOS requires an update.

Windows 11
Unfortunately, there are no BIOS updates available.
I can access the BIOS occasionally, as the issue appears intermittently.
I would appreciate understanding the reason behind this problem.

I wouldn't claim it's really an issue.

Check the bios, there might be an option to reduce the post speed and allow the monitor more time to prepare.
Have you experimented with another monitor?

Sorry, I don't have an alternative display.

The issue was resolved. I had to power on the computer as soon as it connected to electricity. After waiting a few seconds, the problem was fixed.
