Hello Everyone, My partner's personal computer stopped working unexpectedly yesterday. They observed it was running slower than usual—this usually happens occasionally but returns to normal after a restart. When trying to turn on the power button, nothing happens. The RGB lighting on the motherboard is still functioning properly. We attempted to fix the issue by disconnecting and reconnecting the power supply cable and even tried using a screwdriver to short the power switch. All components seem to be intact, having been in the system for at least a year. I don’t have complete details yet but will update later. Could this still point to a PSU problem even though the motherboard lights are on? Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated. Updated: It just seemed like today was the day it would work again, so we’re running diagnostics now to check for any failing parts. Thanks!

Usually you won't find the assistance you need unless you specify your requirements. It seems there might be an issue with the RAM, try removing one component to test.

Functioned adequately initially, but now the same problem is recurring.
