Gigabyte B550i AORUS Pro mobile motherboard, RT Boost, 3070/ GTX 1080 graphics, R5 5600X CPU. It powers on but nothing appears on the screen. You've tried different GPUs and RAM configurations, re-seated components, and everything seems to work mechanically. Still no display output. You're feeling exhausted. Need advice?

Have you explored another motherboard? Those issues often point to a faulty one.

The build you shared seems solid, but I’m curious about your GPU choice. Should I hold off for a 5 series model or opt for the 7700XT, 4070 Super, or similar? The 8GB VRAM in the 3070 Ti isn’t holding up well anymore.

Depends, really. If you stream or use raytracing, then you should get an Nvidia GPU. If not, get an AMD GPU. As for waiting for the 50-series comes out, it depends. I generally recommend to research a fuck ton, especially when looking for a good high-end GPU on a used marketplace, like FB Marketplace or Jawa. I can't say much about Jawa, though. I don't know if they're good. If you want to go new, wait for literally any sale. Black Friday, Amazon Prime Day, whatever. Waiting for the 50-series to come out is like waiting for GTA6: It'll take a while.
