I purchased a used gaming computer from someone and faced initial issues. The monitor didn’t display anything, and the motherboard showed a white EZdebug light. I searched online but couldn’t pinpoint the cause—some suggested it might be related to the GPU or CPU, though my knowledge was limited. I only started learning more recently, mostly figuring out component values without getting caught in trouble like before.

When I brought it to a local repair shop, they removed the CPU and reinstalled it, which worked and the display appeared. However, within a week, the light reappeared, and the same problem occurred again. By last Tuesday, powering it down didn’t help, and it kept happening twice more.

Today it happened once again, but turning it off and restarting didn’t resolve it. I’ve watched some YouTube tutorials, but I’m hesitant to risk further damage since I don’t have money for a repair visit. It’s frustrating because more research suggests the issue could be an HDMI cable or a BIOS update. I’m trying to decide if swapping the CPU back in is worth it before taking any chances.

Today it worked again, but the light flashed briefly—probably just a few seconds. I took photos, but the quality was poor. The specs I have are: GPU—MSI GeForce 3060, CPU—AMD Ryzen 5 5600, RAM—16GB (brand unknown), PSU—1000W (brand unknown).

Take out the CMOS battery, let it rest for two minutes, then reinstall it and check if it improves the issue.
