I addressed the problem but I'm curious if anyone has experienced similar events. While browsing YouTube, I didn't notice any unusual programs running on my PC during a typical day. Suddenly, the screen flickered as if installing new drivers. Then the DRAM diagnostic lights appeared. After shutting down the system, unplugging it, removing the RAM, waiting briefly, and reinserting it, the PC started up without issues. However, I remain puzzled about what occurred and why it happened, hoping to learn how to prevent it or better understand it. Thank you for taking the time to read this—enjoy gaming! I built this setup in January of this year, and everything has been working smoothly so far. This situation is quite confusing. Edit: It's happened twice today; now I have one stick of RAM installed and I'm unsure what to do next. I have a warranty on each component individually, so I could consider returns if necessary, but I'd rather avoid it if possible. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. My main concern is that recently, after a driver update for my card, the issue reappeared. Could this be related? Or should I revert to the older version? Specs: CPU - Ryzen 5 5600 MHz, AMD, 2x8GB DDR4 (2666MHz), BIOS is tricky, GPU performance is slow, PSU from Corsair, M.2 NVMe SSD with OS: Crucial P3 1TB, 3500MB/s.)

Not very certain about that point. Memory can be tricky. Let me know if you'd like more details.

No problem at all! If you're facing issues with bios, let me know so I can help.

I tried several methods to identify or eliminate possible causes: Replaced RAM connections—problem resolved. Verified BIOS defaults for RAM settings. Checked DOCP/XMP configuration and matching speeds. Tested with a single module only. If the issue disappeared, it suggested compatibility or timing issues. If it persisted, I considered RAM or motherboard problems. Consulted manufacturer support for RAM or motherboard issues, then initiated RMA. If that didn’t help, I tried swapping CPUs and replacing components. If CPU memory controller was faulty, I suspected a hardware failure. I experienced intermittent booting with DRAM lights fluctuating, which made CPU RMA requests difficult.

RAM performance at 2666 MHz often defaults to 2133 unless a DOCP is configured. It's possible the timing settings are incorrect for 2666 if the motherboard is enforcing a 2133 baseline. This could stem from the hardware adjusting without a proper DOCP or XMP profile, which a 3600 CL18 should handle well with a R5 5600.

I understand how you reached the recovery screen, but I’m not sure if the board you bought has a splash screen. Once you enter recovery, you’ll be able to access BIOS without needing to press any keys. The issue seems to be with the splash screen not appearing at startup.

The post is currently at 2400, and the BIOS setup is causing some issues because there’s no splash screen. I’m unsure why this was allowed or who decided it was fine, but a separate review mentioned this after purchase.

The keyboard may take time to set up after POST, based on the USB port you use.

Occasionally computers start up quickly and the splash screen doesn't appear, you might attempt rapidly pressing the delete key right after turning on your machine.
