PC Stability Problems
It began with Chrome and Opera displaying random errors such as "The page has crashed unexpectedly" or "STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION." Initially, I didn’t worry much, but then my computer would restart on its own, and sometimes I encountered a Blue Screen that vanished quickly. I attempted to reset the PC, but it would restart before I could finish. The most puzzling aspect was that opening any game—even from the main menu—didn’t trigger these issues. No restarts, no crashes, no blue screens—everything functioned flawlessly. I’ve tried removing one RAM stick at a time, though it didn’t help. (Just in case it was related to RAM) Details: CPU i9 14900K, 2x16GB RAM, 3080Ti GPU, ROG STRIX Z790-E motherboard, BIOS up to date (version 2801), MSI 850W power supply, running Windows 11. Any suggestions? Thank you ahead of time!
This situation appears quite severe, consider putting it into safe mode if you can't complete the verification.
It might stem from a Windows 11 problem. Even though it happened around two years ago, some users reported random restarts or crashes. If you rule out a virus, consider updating drivers or reviewing power settings.
Hello, thank you for your message. I attempted to scan my PC, but no files were found. The only download I recall is League of Legends, which I have already removed.
Curiously, could you tell me which operating system is running Windows? I noticed your specifications didn’t mention storage details.
Consider basic upkeep steps: run sfc /scannow dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth chkdsk c: /f in a command prompt with admin rights. Verify the C: drive in the third line matches your Windows installation volume. SFC checks for damaged files and tries to fix them automatically. DISM searches for issues requiring OS-level fixes, while chkdsk scans for bad sectors and attempts repair.
