Hello,
I’m experiencing problems while downloading large files at high speeds.
Mostly I use Steam or Ubisoft Connect (Uplay), but once the downloads reach around 65mb/s, my PC starts to lag and the audio becomes unstable.
I’ve tried some online solutions like (bcdedit /set useplatformclock false) in CMD Admin, but nothing worked.
I also reset my PC in the hope it would fix the issue with a new version, but again no improvement.
I’ve been dealing with this for about two months now, any suggestions would be really helpful!

Here are my details:
CPU: I9-9900K
Motherboard: MSI MEG Z390 ACE
RAM: 2x8GB 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance Pro
Storage: Samsung M.2 970 EVO 1TB (OS and games installed, no different partitions)
PSU: Corsair RM750X
GPU: MSI RTX 2080 Gaming Super
OS: Windows 10 Pro

I haven’t attempted overclocking, any ideas would be appreciated!
Thank you!
Gerald

What BIOS version is installed on your motherboard? What operating system are you using? Currently, we're running version 20H2. The RAM is configured for X.M.P settings, which indicates overclocking. Do you have an aftermarket cooler for your processor?

The aftermarket cooler is a Corsair H150I Pro. My operating system is 20H2, and the BIOS version is 1.A0 (Bios Release 10-13-2020. The RAM is set to XMP, though I didn't realize it was an overclocking setting either, but I haven't had any issues so far... I updated everything this morning.)
