I recently upgraded to am5 and have specs that are lower than expected. I’ve experienced random freezes lasting 1-5 seconds, usually occurring while gaming. I’ve tried reinstalling Windows, updating the BIOS, running SFC, applying driver updates, but it happens across multiple games, so it’s not just the game. If anyone has suggestions, please share them below. Thank you.

Mmm, interesting. My setup is the same, and I've seen quite a few similar discussions lately. I have:
i5-13600k
32GB DDR5 6000mhz
RTX 4060
I suspect the memory speed or the Nvidia drivers might be the issue. I don't recall my problem starting before enabling XMP, and I haven't used the PC for long with it turned off.

I understand you're asking about the temperature readings and cooling methods being used.

i'm using lian li galahad aio 240 temps, it seems to work fine max. the only time i've had issues is with cpu at 75 and gpu at 80. i turned off amd expo, hoping it won't cause a freeze, which would be a disappointment since i have this build set up for high-end games.

based on my observations, i begin experiencing throttling near 70c, which causes the clock speed to slow occasionally, even by as little as 1ms. Try going into a game or a benchmark to check your clock speed.
